Christian Lise, M.A., LMFT

Hello, my name is Christian Lise and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy. I was born and raised
in Denmark but moved to the US in the mid 2000’s to pursue my career in mental health.
Prior to joining Avery Centre, I worked in community mental health agencies throughout the state of
California for 8 years supporting at-risk children and adults with stressors in their daily life.
My passion is assisting children and adults with processing and overcoming depression, anxiety, and
traumatic experiences.
I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual. Some people prefer to engage in
active conversation throughout the session while others prefer the therapist asking the questions.
Regardless of your preference, I will be able to guide you through your concerns and needs.
